Practices
We practise once a month at Euxton, near Chorley, usually on the second
Sunday of the month. However, please contact us to
confirm dates and times.
Venue: Euxton Methodist Church Hall, Wigan Rd,
Euxton
(Pronounced ‘EXTON’), Chorley, Lancashire, PR7 6LP. (Wigan Rd. is the A49).
Time:
2 – 5pm -- You may
want
to bring a drink and snack!!
Directions:
From Junction 8 of the M61:
Follow signs for Chorley,
then immediately signs for Euxton, turning right at the "Hartwood Hall
Hotel" (lots of traffic lights -- very confusing!).
At the next roundabout, take 3rd exit (signed Euxton).
Turn left at traffic lights at "Bay Horse Hotel" onto the A49 (signed
Wigan).
Continue straight for about 1 mile, passing "Papa Luigi's" restaurant
and "Euxton Mills" pub.
The Church hall is on the left, 1/4 mile from
"Euxton Mills" pub, in the dip.
From Junction 28 of the M6:
Turn onto the A49 (signed
Euxton and Wigan).
Continue on the A49 for about 3 miles, passing Leyland Golf Club, going
under a railway bridge (with traffic lights) and passing the "Bay
Horse" pub on the left.
Stay on the A49 for about 1 mile, passing "Papa
Luigi's" restaurant and "Euxton Mills" pub.
The Church hall is on the left, 1/4
mile from "Euxton Mills" pub, in the dip.
From Junction 27 of the M6:
Drive to the centre of
Standish and turn left onto the A49 (signed Preston).
Stay on the A49 for about 5 miles, passing "Cinnamon" restaurant,
"Buy-a-Bike", and Charnock Richard Crematorium.
The Church Hall is on the right, 1/4 mile from
the Crematorium.
